my name is FRED WEASLEY and I am the better looking half of the oh-so famous Weasley twin duo (the other one is George, he's okay).
I'm NOT DEAD ANYMORE, I guess, which is WEIRD. But I died valiantly and it was sad and all that. :(

- Thirteen years after Fred was killed in the Battle of Hogwarts, he woke up. Luckily, it wasn't a buried alive sort of situation: he was just suddenly awake in a ditch. It took the man a few moments to remember what happened, since he first assumed George had left him during a wild bender, but then it hit him. Also, the sudden baldness was hard to miss.
Fred took his time telling his family about his sudden reemergence into the land of the living. For a few weeks, he considered just starting over without troubling them. But of course that wasn't going to happen. He's a Weasley, and Weasleys thrive on family and friends. So eventually he slowly got in contact with them and managed to find a place to fit into this changed world.
He lived in the States for a while, setting up shop in Montana of all places, because of a nice bloke he met thataway. Eventually, though, the dirty streets of London called to him and he returned home for good. Fred's now living and working in the Muggle world -- he hasn't quite gotten around to telling the Ministry about this miracle undeath thing yet -- and having the time of his life. Death. Whatever.
